In fruit and vegetable categories, Sayurbox also makes some categorization of the products
they sell as people have different backgrounds and behaviors in choosing what they want
to buy. There are products that are categorized as hydroponic and pesticide free for those
who are really concerned about healthier lifestyle, imported products for those who have

specific preference of quality and brand, imperfect for those who consider the price of the
product, also conventional for most people in general.

In the protein category, Sayurbox also categorizes the products based on the production
methods. For example, Sayurbox offers different types of chicken from broiler chicken,
kampoeng chicken, probiotic chicken, and natural poultry. It is slightly different from the
competitors which mostly only sell boiler and kampoeng chicken.

Packaging
Sayurbox strongly supports the environmentally friendly movements in running their
business. Customers can choose whether their orders will be packaged using plastic or not
through a checkbox on their order summary.
2.2.2.3 Price
To understand the price that Sayurbox offers to its customers, there will be some sample
products that are sold by Sayurbox. The chosen items will be the same with the sample
products in the competitor analysis on their normal price in table 2.11.

Compared to its competitors, it can be said that Sayurbox’s price is slightly more
expensive than the price offered by TaniHub, Segari, and Edenfarm. Although the
difference is not really huge, Sayurbox’s price can be considered higher than the other
online groceries application. However, there are price promotions that are offered almost
everyday in different product categories each day through flash sale.
Payment Method
Customers also can choose the payment method based on their preference. Sayurbox
offers payment using digital wallet (Gopay and OVO), Cash on Delivery which customers
can pay in cash and return non-conforming products, bank transfer using virtual account
(BCA, Bank Mandiri, BRI, Bank Permata) and digital payment (Mandiri virtual account
OY! and Jenius cashtag), also credit cards using Visa or Master Card.
Customers can also apply voucher codes that they could get from previous transactions or
any promotion held by Sayurbox to get any discount.

2.2.2.4 Promotion
There are some promotion methods that are adopted by Sayurbox. Sayurbox mostly
promotes the product through social media, especially Instagram. They also utilize their
website as their promotion tools by putting some web banner in their home page, and
describe their company and business’ values through their blog.
