9.Rerun and report the new mean, std. dev and samples10. Go under the XY tab, and under file do new, and discard.11. As before, rename the columns and enter the data as before but enter the item# and running total columns.12. Go under the graph tab, analyze, curve fit, running total.
13. Under the fit equation list, choose linear. The program will graph the least squares fit (best fit) of a line to the data and report the slope(m) and y-intercept(b) of that line. Report the slope, y-intercept, and correlation below. The closer the correlation is to one, the better the fit against the data. Press ok and you will see the fit against the data in thegraph.14. Highlight the point that corresponds to item#5 and under graph, click strike through data.15.
