A key tool in the process of cholera drug discovery is forskolin (FSK), a product of the endangered plant Coleus forskohlii . This second figure presents results from experiments in which brush border cell cAMP levels are measured after treatment with PDG, treatment with FSK, and treatment with both substances. Note: The “NS.” In the graph tells us that T-tests confirm that the differences between control and PDG results are not significant, nor are the differences between FSK and FSK+PDG treatments significant. The two sets of data ARE significanty different from one another. This is a nice example of T-test use. c.
