On-going project 4. What are the firms’ minimum requirements for the new civil engineeringgraduates that they will hire? 5. How do the immediate supervisors rate the job preparedness of the new civil engineering graduates they have employed in relation to: 5.1. Overall theoretical foundation 5.2. Ability to make structural design 5.3. Ability to prepare plans 5.4. Ability to make construction cost estimates 5.5. Mastery of using design softwares (e.g. AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS) 5.6.
