It will be important to have middle management in place that can supervise the day-to- day operations as well as have the ability to monitor the performance of employees. Self- evaluations and customer feedback give each employee the opportunity to see how they are doing through the eyes of the public and to express where they believe they perceive themselves at this point. “The service an organization provides is only as good as the people within it -- the service deliverers” (Cook, S., Macaulay, S., 1993, para.1). Each and every employee will have the ability to assess and improve upon their skills that they provide for the company, at the same time learning new ones that can help them grow professionally. Customer feedback is a great way for managers to see how well their employees are doing and whether or not adjustments need to be made to meet their demands for great service. As a limousine company, customer satisfaction must be at the top of the list to become a successful business in such a competitive market. Your employees must know exactly what is expected of them, and that usually starts from the very beginning stages of employment. Background checks, initial and random drug screening, and driving tests are all great way of getting each employee started in the right direction. Job Analysis Each position of your company is very different, and each one requires a very specific set of skills and abilities to perform the job. It is important to know exactly what the job entails so that managers can develop ways of best select the appropriate candidate for that position. Understanding the basic requirements of the job and what to expect in the position will give way to performance standards. A job analysis should always include a detailed description of the
