Huxtable family had had a comfortable life that not many people of color have at the time. This show introduced a new picture of a Black family as a successful one, with both parents have high incomes to provide more than enough for their five children. One might conclude that the show gets rid of the stereotype that many Africa-Americans could not attain success due to their skin color. (“The Cosby Show and its role in breaking stereotypes”). Scene two examines the parenting of the Huxtable family that conveyed valuable lessons from their lifestyle and get rid of the negative ideas about people of color. many scenes, she gave full attention to their children and kept the house in order. Similarly, the character of Mr. Huxtable knew how to taught his children about the value of everything. The children of the Huxtable family have both a good education and attention from parents. Besides, many problems in the family come from the children. However, due to the hard and strict discipline from parents, they always have a solution to their problems and fill their life with lessons of hard-working, sacrifice, and college degrees.
