into our own sinful nature.
Humanity
Many believe that humanity might have been God’s greatest creation. He created humans
in his image and that shows the special relationship with God and humans. Humanity is the
pinnacle of creation because of its place at the end of the Bible, and the amount of space it takes
up in the Bible, and the interruption of the pattern of wording when discussing the first five days
of creation in Genesis 1 (Hiles & Smith 2015). Human purpose can refer to different things.
From the beginning, God has given humanity the responsibility to take care and rule over other
creatures and expand his kingdom under his sovereign rule (Lecture 2 notes). Also, Christians
may be called to exhibit that they were created in the image of Christ and restored to the perfect
image of God. I believe the root cause of human problems may be fear, selfishness, and self-
pride.
Jesus
Jesus is fully God in human form and he comes second in the Trinity but that doesn’t
mean he has less power. God chose to become man in the person of Jesus Christ mainly to serve
and because the incarnation is proclaimed clearly through the New Testament. Jesus had done
many great things including healing the sick, feeding cities, raising people from the dead, and
walking on water. Jesus was a walking miracle. He would have many preaching and lectures
explaining the power and greatness of God. Jesus was killed for our sins and risen from the dead
three days later. He proved his power numerous times throughout his lifetime. His identity and

work are significant for the Christian worldview. They are significant because Christians are
Christ followers. We must have faith in the things he has done for us, our worldview greatly
depends on it. Many of our beliefs shape the way we live our everyday lives.
