Army reform, Marius’ Mules. Promises them loot and land Marius and his army defeat Jugurtha and Jugurtha is captured by Marius’ quaestor: Lucius  Cornelius Sulla Marius will be re-elected to the consulship an unprecedented 6 times Obtains land for his veterans, using the model of land distribution established by the  Gracchi The Social War, 90-87 BC Italians Allies goes to war against Rome, because they want full citizenship.
