59.Richard Wilkinson argues that social factors – the strength of social contacts, ties within communities, availability of social support, a sense of security – are the main determinants of the relative health of a society. Is he right? In my opinion his work is Great analys, which describes a problem without chucking divisive concepts in it. They should all be like this.

Equality of all sorts can come when we realise that we all deserve to be treated fairly and equally, not when different subsets of society are instigated to blame and criticise all individuals who belong to different subsets, even if they have nothing to do with the current situation and are willing to change it. 60.Describe the essence, consequences and significance of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) which was passed in 1995, for all disabled people in the world. The DDA came into effect in 1995. It has been amended a number of times since by regulations implemented in Northern Ireland. Anyone with a disability is protected by the DDA. The DDA defines disability as “a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on a person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities”. This includes significant sight loss. The types of discrimination it can help you challenge are: direct discrimination (such as a ban on employing blind people) disability related discrimination (for example, a taxi driver refusing to take a blind passenger because they have a guide dog) failure by an organisation to make a reasonable adjustment to allow you access to goods, facilities and services victimisation harassment. 61.Examine that the sociology’s challenge is not merely to identify such differences, but to explain why they occur – and how they might be overcome. Sociology as an independent science has its own tasks. Secondly, sociology studies the problems that are associated with the transformation of social reality, the analysis of ways and means of purposeful impact on social processes. Especially the role of sociology in the conditions of transformation of our society increases, as each decision taken, each new step taken by the authorities, affect social interests, change the position and behavior of many interacting groups. Under these conditions, the authorities urgently need complete, accurate and truthful information about the real situation in any sphere of public life, about the needs, interests, behavior of social groups in a given situation, as well as about the possible influence of their behavior on social processes. An equally important task of sociology is to provide reliable “feedback” of the management of society. After all, the adoption of the most correct and necessary decision by the highest authorities represents the first step in transforming reality. This
