Word choice is one of the “lower-order concerns” I will concentrate on the portfolio and the peer review. Choose words the audience will understand; words that fit the subject and purpose; eliminate words that do not contribute to the meaning; look for big words only to impress the reader or audience. I will also concentrate on punctuation so reads with grasp the meaning, follow a system of rules and not he natural pauses made when reading. Sentence structure will is also important and read better than wordy or short sentences. Check the paper for awkward, inconsistent, or incorrect sentences. One faulty belief of writers is that longer, wordy sentences are better than simple, clearer ones. Advocate for a blend of long and simple sentences. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
