Apart from purchasing the new machine which is much expensive, the hospital could still purchase another MAGNETOM Aera 1.5T at a lower price. Nonetheless, another machine will be needed to perform new oncology services thus making the whole process more expensive. Other considerations that might factor into the decision to expand the imaging service include the needs of the patient population. One of the objectives of the hospital is to offer philanthropic care. Consequently, the decision is important as it will help to improve the services that the hospital provides. Another factor that will be important to consider is the available space for expansion of the service (Sarafino & Smith, 2014). This is available since the institution has empty rooms that could be used to house the machine.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
