first few minutes of our tour in what I viewed as the lobby of the museum, we observed bust statues of General William Yarborough, John F. Kennedy and Colonel Arron which included a brief history of their contribution to our history. One exhibit during my tour that I found particularly interesting was one on Special Operations in Afghanistan. This exhibit captured a moment where special forces were behind enemy lines receiving refuge from the villagers. This exhibit was most interesting to me because I was also a part of the war in Afghanistan in a different branch of the military. As a member of the U.S. Navy when the war was going on I was aboard a ship conducting operations. I would always wonder how other branches of the military were fairing, considering they had to combat enemies at a much closer distance. The exhibit provided details on triumphs of the mission as well as sacrifices that were made. I can say that I felt very connected to this specific exhibit and was actually surprised to see a part of history that I was a part of.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
