Click on Task Scheduler Library, then Windows & BackupBackup windows is displayed, click on Properties or double click on it.Ensure that the task is running as SYSTEM account and update the configure the changes to correct OS.Go to the settings and select Stop the task if it runs longer than to 2 hours, select Allow task to berun on demand. Next on the right side, click on Run to perform a full back up. The status can be checked into backup utility where the backup will be performed on a daily basis at 9PM.

2.Perform an authoritative restoration:First we must recover AD from a backup by performing the following steps:Restart the domain controller (DC) of interest.When we see the menu to select the OS, press F8.From the Windows Advanced Options Menu, select Directory Services Restore Mode, then press Enter.Select the Windows OS, then press Enter.Use the restore mode password and log on as the administrator ( this was set up when we promoted the DC during initial setup )
