Scrum is an agile process that allows us to focus on delivering the highest business value in the shortest time. o It allows us to rapidly and repeatedly inspect actual working software (every two weeks to one month). o Every two weeks to a month every one can see real working software and decide to release it or continue to enhance it for another sprint o The business sets the priorities. Teams self-organize to determine the best way to deliver the highest priority features ( 最高优先级功能 ). Scrum Characteristics Self-organizing teams Customer requirements are captured as items in a list of product backlog ( 需求被捕捉作为“产品积压”列表中的项目 ) Product progresses in a series of month-long sprints ( 产品在一系列为期一个月的“冲刺”中取得进展 ) Teamwork: The team can manage their own work from task allocation, task estimation, story development and testing and delivery of a successful sprint as a group. Product backlog o Is a list of all desired work on the project o each item in the list has value to the users or customers of the product o items is prioritized by the product owner and is reprioritized at the start of each sprint Sprints o Scrum projects make progress in a series of “sprints”. o It is analogous ( 类似 ) to Extreme Programming iterations. o Typical duration is 2 weeks or a calendar month at most. o Scope of each sprint is frozen (but can be reduced if necessary) o Time period is kept constant ( 不 变 的 ), this is because a constant duration leads to a better rhythm ( 旋律
