Girl Scouts, cont’d, page 2 Sarah Miller, Director of communications for Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington, said, "One hundred years of building courage, confidence and character in young women is certainly something to celebrate! We are very much looking forward to sharing this occasion with the local community and showcasing what Girl Scouting is all about - from science and technology, to digital design, to a century of history, there will be something fun for every girl." Girl Scouts is a volunteer-driven organization open to girls from kindergarten to 12 th grade. The main goal of the programs created by Girl Scouts are for girls to discover who they are and what they value; connect with others; and take action to make the world a better place. The organization does this by ensuring programs are girl-led, that the girls learn by doing, and engage in cooperative learning. The Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington provide 40 service units for girls in Oregon and the Clark and Skamania counties in Washington. ###

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
