Therefore, there is a need for luminairesto be turned on during the day. Although largeamount of sunlight enters the room through thewindows, it is not enough to light the entire room upto the standard levels. At the center of the room, values of only 40 to 90 lux were observed whichgreatly improved to between 260 and 330 lux whenluminaire group three was turned on. Areas near thefront doors were also lower ranging from 70 to 90lux and greatly improved to between 160 to 250 lux.ii.Floor PlaneFigure ## Sacristy – Daytime – Floor Plane –Combined Data 1Figure ## Sacristy – Daytime – Floor Plane –Combined Data 2
UST: EE524L-T2AY1920-5EEB-G615The room floor plane was able to reach an average levelof 174 lux. Although below standard, it was observed that thewalking areas were able to reach levels of 200 to 300 luxwhich is ample enough for walking and avoid hittingsomething. Uniformity can also be observed withing thewalking areas so the eyes will not get tired with adjustingwhen walking.Figure ## Sacristy – Daytime – Floor Plane –IsolinesFigure ## Sacristy – Daytime – Floor Plane –False ColorsFigure ## Sacristy– Daytime – Floor Plane –Value ChartFigure ## Display Control Room – Daytime withAll Luminaire Groups Off – Floor Plane –Combined DataSimilar to the working plane, lower values were observedwhen all the luminaire groups were turned off which canresult to uncomfortable walking and eye strain as the eyes aretrying to see what is there in the vicinity of your walking area.d.Nighttime DataFigure ## Sacristy – Nighttime – 3D Render 1Figure ## Sacristy – Nighttime – 3D Render 2Figure ## Sacristy – Nighttime – Room – FalseColor 1Figure ## Sacristy – Nighttime – Room – FalseColor 2i.Working Plane

The roomwas still able to reach an average value of 311 lux whichmeans the room was able to reach the standards with itsluminaires. Empty areas were able to achieve values of morethan 400 lux as they area directly below luminaires five andsix which has the greatest luminous flux. Values were thengradually decreasing to the standard of around 300 lux at thecenter area where most activities were made during the nightsuch as preparing for the mass and where the couches arelocated for resting.
