Public Relations Initiative – Riddell must increase their brand name and presence internationally to have attraction towards our gear and helmets. Effective Production – When the demand begins to form, our production team needs to be ready to make sure our product is made, fitted and delivered in an effective amount of time. Flexible Sales Team – Our sales team will need to hit the road and be very flexible for the customer when making appointments and training/fitting sessions. Compatible Social Media – The new age of technology can be used to our advantage in the marketing aspect, by setting up social media platforms specifically for the Riddell Precision-Fit helmets.

SPT 465: Global Sports Business Plan 5 Marketing Plan New, custom fit helmets that have been proven to help avoid head injures to football players. As a former football coach, when I hear this, all that I can think of is how this idea or invention is going to recreate the game of football in a good way. It has been a growing product in the United States, therefore going international can make our product even better. When we discovered that Germany was the country that had the highest participation of American Football in Europe, this was the place to start selling our helmets. Before we start selling our new product to other teams in the German American Football League it would be best to show how these helmets are better than the older ones. We could invite teams from the German American Football League to watch these tests, and maybe even hold a fitting event. These tests can help show how the person how custom these helmets are and prove to them that our product can help prevent the epidemic of head injuries in American Football. Since safety has become the #1 concern in the sport of American Football, we can easily help address it with our experiences through the project at the University of Iowa (where since 2012, a head injury has not been reported on the football team). Our company, Riddell, offers the newest and safest gear for football players, with helmets only being apart of the business. The invention of the Riddell Precision-Fit Helmets is the latest and only helmet that as been proven to minimize the chances of obtaining a head injury. We are so confident in our product that we invite any team to use these helmets for a season and see if the helmet has indeed lowered the players chances for getting a concussion. It has been proven through our project at the University of Iowa and can be proven anywhere.

SPT 465: Global Sports Business Plan 6 This will then attract more teams and leagues to use our helmets, opening opportunities of bulk orders and discounted pricing. Once we have teams in the German American Football League hooked to the use our helmets, we can use their satisfaction and influence to attract other teams and organizations.
