This country tends to focus in on quality of life, family, friendships, work but also finding leisure time (Hofstede Insights, 2019). I had the opportunity to not only visit this country eight times but live there and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Lastly, when reviewing the long term and short-term orientation. The countries’ characteristics that resembles the United States could be Switzerland or Albania because many Americans have strong thoughts about "good" and "evil." These countries have the same

This could include problems like abortion, drug use, euthanasia, arms or the government's size and rights versus the states and the citizens. These countries also believe that truth depends very much on the situation, context and time. When it comes to work, American companies evaluate their efficiency on a short-term basis with quarterly profit and loss reports. This also encourages people to strive for quick results, with little investment in long-term solutions and change processes more frequently. South Korea on the other hand focuses on steadfast growth and not quarterly profit. They are more about valuing relationships verses positions. Taking a more pragmatic approach, South Korea invest for longevity in their people verses their processes.
