including the thought that it is the individual’s fault in their own state of homelessness (Walter, Jetten, Parsell, & Dingle). Breaking stigmas could benefit both organizations by getting resources to the individuals and families that need them. ConclusionPublic and community agencies such as Planned Parenthood, The Family Place, and Hastings Family Services gives resources to address health inequities in the community. This paper looked at these agencies in terms of services they provide, the population they serve, the type of agency, and challenges they may face. Public and Community agencies are vital in helping individuals and families in need.
