• Preparing the DD Form 2579, Small Business Coordination Record
• Ensuring the completed DD Form 2579 is accompanied by the proposed solicitation and supporting
documentation ( market research report , acquisition strateg y or plan, other relev ant documents ) to
support the Contracting Officer 's recommendation
• Coordinating his/ her recommendations on a particular acquisition w ith the local SBP
• Coordinating his/ her recommendations on a particular acquisition w ith the Small Business
Administration ( SBA) Procurement Center Representatives ( PCRs ) when the acquisition exceeds the
SAT and the Contracting Officer will recommend NOT setting the acquisition aside
