or shallow it goes and the heat that is administered. how to administer an ultrasound, and how to use the E- Stem machine on an athlete. experience. Clinical Education Day #3 What Happened? Have I done/seen this before? How do I feel about it? What did I learn? What would I do differently, after thinking about it? We learned about balance and how to help rehabilitate athletes after an injury. I’ve used Bosou balls before and the pink balance discs. Everything else was new for me. I liked learning the different ways to rehabilitate an athlete. There’s a lot of different options to help an athlete get back into the swing of things. I learned all the different things that we do here at WSU to help athletes after an injury. I could try more of the things that we did. I didn’t really interact much after we did the initial rotations on the balance boards and the partner throwing. Clinical Education Day #4 What Happened? Have I done/seen this before? How do I feel about it? What did I learn? What would I do differently, after thinking about it? We discussed and evaluated a case study. No. It was interesting going through an actual case that was ongoing here at WSU. I found it interesting how much work goes into dealing with one injury. I learned new terminology and some of the tests that are administered when testing an athlete injury for severity and things like that. I would volunteer to be the “test athlete” or to try administering some of the tests that we learned about.
