EVALUATING STUDENT PERFORMANCE The point breakdown is distributed as follows: Points vLeader Quizzes (1 to 3 at 5 pts each for extra credit) 15 ===== Orientation Quiz 10 Examinations (exam 1: 70 pts; exam 2: 90 pts; exam 3: 60 pts) 220 vLeader Advantage Textbook Exercises (5 points each) 40 Class Attendance/Participation 50 Discussion Forums (complete 4 forums at 25 pts each): 100 SafeAssign Team Reports (team proposal parts A and B: 100 pts; team presentation 100 pts; team report 100 pts) 300 SafeAssign Individual Report 80 Total Points Possible 800 FINAL GRADES Final grades will be determined according to the following scale (divide your total received by 8): A 93 - 100% B 83 - 86% C 73 - 76 % D 63 - 66% A- 90 - 92% B- 80 - 82% C- 70 - 72 % D- 60 - 62% B+ 87 - 89 % C+ 77 - 79 % D+ 67 - 69% F 59% and below ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE The topics and assignments are subject to change over the course of the semester. If there is a change you will be notified and a new topics and assignments page distributed and Blackboard updated. You are expected to be fully prepared to complete each assignment on time.
