Teachers and school staff can participate in professional development activities in their schools or districts to make sure they are able to stay on top of the latest trends in inquiry-based learning, allowing them to take what they learn and apply it to their own classrooms. Another important resource to utilize in an inquiry-based classroom learning environment is technology.Technology is one of the most versatile resources that a teacher can utilize in any classroom. Padlet is an effective tool when used in the classroom. Padlet can be used on multiple devices. Padlet provides an online environment that encourages collaboration that can easily be shared with others. Padlet is also very versatile as this program can be used with all core content areas.Just as with all learning activities, there are challenges and benefits to inquiry-based learning activities. When working collaboratively, students are working with multiple peers in a group. They will be faced with bumps in the road created by differences in opinion and personality clashes. Part of the learning process is learning to work past these challenges. The students need to learn how to see past their differences by learning to accept the opinions and contributions of others.
