Entry 4: Write down five questions you have while reading. Then write the answers as you continue to read. (i.e. What will my character do in this situation? Why is she sad?) Entry 5: Your choice- Here are some questions to respond to if you have trouble: W ho do you identify with and why? who do you sympathize with and why? Does this remind you of something you experienced? Are you glad you read the book? What music/movie do you think a character would like and why? Who would you cast in the film version of this book and why? Part 2: Vocabulary This will count as a homework grade. Find ten words that are difficult, define them, and write a sentence using each one. This must be typed.

Part 3: Project This will count as a test grade. You will write a one page, MLA formatted, paper. In it, you will write a review of your novel, but remember not to spoil any surprise endings! Would you recommend this book? Why or why not? Imagine you are writing a review for your peers; think about the issues/topics/subject matter that is important to you and your peers. Extra Credit You may OPTIONALLY select one of these in addition to your written paper. 1) C haracter Biography : Create a character biography for one of the characters in your novel . You must include a typed explanation of all aspects of your biography.
