The following figure described that, 44% of the employees rate their supervisor’s communication skills as being very good towards their job performance, while 28% of the people said its good and another 17% said their supervisor’s communication towards them is excellent. The remaining 11% rated the communication as average and non have rated it as poor. In order to realise the employees optimum, both employees and the supervisor must play a role in committing to the professional relation, leading to positive results in productivity and task efficiency. 4.1.14 Supervisors Rating on Planning Competence in planning and organising at the workplace goes hand in hand with being a good supervisor. As shown from the figure, 44% of the employees rated their supervisor being good in terms of planning and organising at their workplace, whereas 22% responded by saying their supervisor rate in planning is very good. 17% said that their supervisors contribution to organising is average, 11% claimed it to be excellent. Lastly, the remaining 6% have stated that their supervisors rate in planning is poor. Supervisor’s ability of planning and organising helps in enhancing job efficiency by being a guidance to employees in operational processes. 4.1.15 Supervisors Rating on Directing The following was the response from employees on rating their supervisor considering their directing and coordinating skills. Majority of employees who responded to the question represent 44% rating their supervisors directing skills to be average. 28% of employees responded by saying their supervisor is very good in directing, an another 28% stated that their coordinating and directing skills are good, making them comfortable working with them. None of the respondents think their supervisors skills are excellent nor poor. Supervisor’s competence on directing and coordinating contribute on employees’ productivity, especially when the supervisor holds great communication skills during directing and coordinating on the training program, making the employees want to increase their competency and performance. 4.1.16 Supervisors rating on Job related knowledge The responses in the following figure described how the employees rated their supervisor on job related or technical knowledge. The figure described that 60% of the people responded by saying their supervisor is very good in job related knowledge. 17% of workers also responded by saying their supervisor has excellent knowledge in the field, whereas another 17% said their supervisor is just good. The remaining 6% of employees rater their supervisor being average in terms of job related knowledge. Supervisor’s job/technical knowledge brings contribution on employee productivity, as the supervisor is regarded as an experienced leader being able to solve employee problems as well, by establishing objectives, selecting program methods and techniques which lead to positive results from the employee.
