6 Example – like in Norway a Norwegian detonated a car bomb and opened fire. Through these attacks he wanted to draw attention to his extremist ideology that blamed Muslims immigrations for disintegration of European society. 6. Political factor- The effect of politics in the development of hate crimes cannot be ignored. Many times, politicians flare up the feeling of regionalism which in turn converts into hate among the people to gain power and they launch agitation. Politics can instigate the feeling of separate existence among one society on bases of their language, race, and economic background. 7. Sentiment factors- some sentimental factor can also give rise to hate crimes like what happened after in USA after 9/11 attack that native people of America started seeing Muslims as terrorist. There was rise in hate crimes against Muslims or the people which resembles with the Muslim people like there were many attacks on Sikhs which has not at all any relation with Muslim religion. CONSEQUENCES Hate crimes can influence the whole peace of country. Some of its consequences are given:- 1. Feeling of separatism- feeling of hate can produce feeling of separatism among the people living in different part of the world. This can be threat to the integrity and unity of a country. 2. Violent movement- Hate has always given birth to violent movement that is the hate crimes. This can result into killing and some time initiations of clash between people and even countries.

7 There can be rise or formation of different extremist groups aiming to hurt the other community. 3. Psychological and mental impact- hate crimes can deeply affect the victim which can disturb him/her for rest of life. Since 1990 the data is collected by federal government of unites states about hate crimes and out of these data the results say that racial hate crimes are most frequently reported which is followed by religious hate crimes and then is sexual oriented hate crimes [Rubenstein; 2006]. And the above report shows the reason for the same what is happening in USA. IMPACTS OF ACADEMIC KNOWLEDGE Academic knowledge has a very deep impact on hate crime or it can be used as vital weapon to tackle this problem. Best example of this is the accepting of people for gay and lesbian community. They realize and accepted them. Initially there was hate crimes like verbal and physical abuse but this is because of their academic knowledge that made people and government to make laws for their protection [herek, berrill, 2005].

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
