They are either from the Sanders and Bowman sample chapter booklet or from the 9 th edition of our textbook and are identified by chapter and problem number. For example, “Sample 2-10” is problem number 10 from Chapter 2 of the supplemental booklet, and “Griffiths 2-16” is problem 16 from Chapter 2 of the Griffiths textbook. Each week, one question identified by the star (*) is to be answered in written form before BIS 101D and turned in at your section meeting. You must be at your section meeting and turn in this solution each week. The other questions listed are the basis for weekly discussion, but you are also encouraged to bring up additional questions and topics when you meet.
