Whether common ground come in the form of moving the location of the mosque, or being a little more sensitive to the feelings and views of the September 11 attack victims families. It would do us good to accept that no matter how much we yell, get in each other’s faces, and slander their names with brash insults - the Islamic people are protected under the Constitution, a document that set the foundation of what it means to be an American.
