Both nations are experiencing more interregional migration towards cities. Brazil's people are moving closer to the capitol, while China is experiencing movement towards larger cities. Both countries' rural population will decrease over the next couple years. 7. Explain differences among the three forms of intraregional migration. Rural to Urban: Migrants are pushed by declining opportunities and are pulled by economic advancement. Urban to Suburban: People are pulled by the suburban lifestyle. Most common intraregional migration in MDCs. Urban to Rural: Becoming increasingly common in MDCs. People are lured by the prospect of swapping busy city life for a more slow lifestyle. 8. What changes in communications and transportation might make counterurbanization easier or harder? There are no longer places which are completely isolated from transportation, and there is access to an international network from rural areas. 9. In recent years, has your community seen net in- migration or net out- migration? What factors explain your community’s net migration? My community has seen net- in migration. Since the school district which is the area where I live was ranked higher this year than in previous years, more people have moved in to improve their school experience and send their children to a better school.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
