When all these points are taken in consideration collaboratively, it is clear that globalization leads to the degradation process of ecological system and this can cause serious damage to the survival of the economic growth of countries and also be dangerous for the existence of human life. According to a research performed by Brockington, that the mankind is already excessively utilizing the production capacity of the natural resources available by more than thirty percent and over 60 percent of the ecosystem is overly exhausted already which means we are not leaving enough for the future generations (Brockington, p.412). On the other hand the group of people who are proponents of capitalism and globalization and believe that globalization has proved to be successful and highly beneficial for the world have come with a concept of natural capitalism, which states that the notion of globalization should definitely move ahead as it cannot be stopped but it should maintain a sustainable action which means that it should progress in an eco-friendly manner. The main concept of this new phenomenon is based on an idea that a sustainable global economic progress is possible and every global organization must adopt an approach that focuses on an efficient, productive and less wastage of natural resources so that the environmental degradation that is caused by globalization can be reduced and simultaneously an organization can reap profitability (Brockington, p.412). The proponents believe that it is possible to transfer the trend of globalization into healthy capitalism that promotes sustainable business practices and the companies are also able to reap profits for their basic survival and growth. The concept of natural capitalism was launched by Hawken that offered a bookish substitute to the bleak and gloomy scenario offered by globalization and capitalism in the industrial world (Brockington, p.412).
