Briefly summarize the problem of evil and suffering. Cite and reference the topic overview and/or Chapter 9 in the textbook.Everyone always wonders why an all-powerful God would let suffering happen inhis creation. Suffering was never a part of what God created, but more something that man created when we sinned. When God created us with free will, that allowed us to rebel from the Lord and serve ourselves. The Topic Overview talks about Job and how heis the perfect example of suffering. Good looked down on Job with favor because Job was such a faithful servant. Satan tried to prove that Job was only a faithful servant because God blessed him so much. God then allowed Job to endure great suffering. Job's life was pretty much destroyed but he stayed faithful to God. God, seeing Job's faithfulness, blessed him with more than was taken from him. When we stay strong in ourfaith, God will help us see the suffering we face through and bless us for never cursing his name or giving up.
