Presentations can be in the form of oral reports, power point slide programs, or creative videos, and can include but are not limited to handouts, posters, overheads, charts, and maps. Note to Teacher: Students can do the work individually, with partners, or in groups, depending on class size. In addition, because students will invariably use the Internet for most information, you may want to limit the number of Internet sources and require other resources. Activity 2 Things Fall Apart is set in 1890s Nigeria. Use all available resources to research Nigeria as it was in the 1890s and as it is today. Based on your research, write a descriptive essay comparing the two cultures and indicating the cause and result of such changes. Note to Teacher: This activity can be done as a supplement to the above activity or can be assigned if the above activity is used as an individual project.
