Social Structure and Social Interaction Positive Impressions The type of impression I would want to create with my online profile would be a positive one. When I start to purse my career as a daycare provider I would want my online profile to stand out. I would add a picture of me in professional attire, add a link to my background check, and references of former coworkers and supervisors that have worked with me. This will show parents that they can trust me to watch their kids. I want parents to feel comfortable leaving their children with me. I want them to know that I am a great person that they can trust. Five components of a professional networking profile that others will use to get an impression of who I am would first be my bio or personal details such as gender, age, occupation, nationality, marital status, contact etc. Secondly, my skills and experience like the level of experience I have had over the past years, Third, my background, which would be my educational background. This is very important, and it should provide the basis for the journey to achieving what I have achieved so far. Fourth would be my interests. These could be my hobbies or other interests that I’m proud of or have achieved. Finally, my contact information. For example, a blog or website if available and links to social network accounts life Facebook or Instagram. This is also very important as parents would like to know how I use my networking skills through social interactions. A headline I would use for my professional networking profile would be the name of my daycare. I would pick a name for my daycare that catches people eyes and go with that and use that for my profile page. I believe that if I follow these components and talk to the person I picked as the best person to get advice from then I will be able to pursue my goal to become a daycare provider. 4
