THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE UP MISSED HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS; DO NOT ASK. Exams : Exams may include short answer, definitions, multiple choice, essay questions, and case studies. All exams WILL start on time DO NOT BE LATE . Exam make-ups must be arranged prior to each exam date. You must take every exam with the section in which you are enrolled unless you have explicit permission from the instructor. If you take an exam in a section in which you are not enrolled without explicit prior permission from the instructor, your exam grade will be reduced by 20%. You must begin every exam within 10 minutes of the start of the exam or you will not be allowed to take the exam. You must enter the exam room before any other student completes the exam and leaves the exam room . Project : The semester project must be completed successfully in order to pass the course . The semester project consists of an E-R diagram, a database schema, a short write-up, and a set of SQL statement textfiles that create, load, and query a database for an organization of each group’s choosing. Students will work in groups of four to complete the project. The assignment of work duties in each group is up to that group. The instructor will randomly assign project group members for those students who do not create a project group themselves. To pass the class, a working project database must be created using SQL statements. If a working database is not created using SQL statements, the students in that group will receive a grade of “F” for their project and also for the class. NOTE: Regardless of the number of points earned in the class, students in a group that do not create a database using SQL statements will receive a grade of “F” for the class.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
