reprinting three communities and represent them all ass equal. I found the to be a very unique aspect the artist took into consideration because history behind CDA can be easily overlooked. The artist decided to take a step back and remind us all of where the town originated to appreciate the ancestry and events that happened in the past. Looking at the art you are able to identify the pressure of unity and equality even though it is not clearly stated who is represented. My first impression of Horsewill's piece follows the artists intent pretty close even though I was unaware of the exact communities within the piece. His artwork is subtle but still showcases what is essential for the piece to communicate what is needed. My first impression was this strange feeling of acceptance and that’s exactly what the artist wanted to communicate through his artwork. I would like to speak with someone who comes from a Native American background to see how intense their feeling of welcoming was as they entered the campus.
