successful if it had been composed solely of people. Having part of the black population
resent the outside agitators would have lessened the suspicion around the hate towards
FBI agents who were investigating a civil rights case.
Due to the presence of the KKK in
Mississippi, such hate crimes were inevitable. The suspicion was generated due to the
bias resentfulness.

Having the right to vote is an important civil right that gives citizens power over the
country, the people control who leads them. Civil rights, including voting, are extremely
important because they represent that you have basic human rights, the ones stated in our

constitution. All the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the civil rights movement are
considered figures in history that will never be forgotten. The fight for civil rights is a
crucial fight for American history.

The US has been impacted greatly thanks to the civil rights movement. American society
was launched into a journey for peace and equality. The Civil Rights Act of 1964
prohibited discrimination and segregation on the basis of race, religion, national origin
and gender in the workplace, schools, public accommodations and in federally assisted
programs. Things that have remained the same include a hint of racism embedded
throughout America. I don't believe anything has become worse than the state America
was in before the civil rights movement.
