systems. Aloe Vera can be used to heal and treat irritated skin, however it can be resistant to the sun and creates a layer of protection against the UV rays ability to penetrate and burn the skin. Many people have Aloe Vera plants around their house, and it’s quite common to find one at a local farmers market and or nursery. With diminishing the use of sunscreen and tanning products at beaches, lagoons, and using an all natural plant (Aloe Vera) to do the same job as sunscreen it can help our environment in the long run. Journal Entry #4: One million species face extinction, U.N. report says. And humans will suffer as a result. 9 May 2019. Washington Post. Darryl Fears. I. Summary: The list of endangered species continues to increase at a rapid rate every single day. A total of one million different plants and animals are on the verge of being extinct. A case study from various universities across the globe are starting to see relations between extinct species and how it will negatively impact human life itself. Within these past few weeks our environment’s well-being has struck headlines on every social media platform as our Earth is slowly perishing along with our essential plants and animals. Authors gathered all over the world are pushing political officials to focus the urgency of biodiversity and to help regenerate ideas of reversing the damage brought upon our world due to man-made caused climate change. Due to our world developing at a rapid rate we are continuously killing it’s natural born beauty of the planet and destroying it with infrastructure and other industrializations such as Global Trade. II. Social Commentary/Opinion: I personally have seen many public announcements on various social media platforms regarding our Earth’s well being (including animals, organisms, and ecosystems) deteriorating. I find that it’s crucial people are educated about what goes on in our environment because not only does it affect the species that reside her but it also affects us in the long run. We have destroyed our world in hopes of creating an autonomous society in which we rely on technological advancement and industrialization. As political officials continue to create laws on women’s bodies (which they are completely clueless about) should rather direct their attention to a conflict that we all FACE. Rather than discriminating about a woman’s body. Not much has been done from our government and if we do not act fast there will be absolutely nothing for us to vote on in the future because we’ve destroyed everything. Plastic Pollution in our aquatic ecosystems has costed
