BIPOLAR PROGRAMMATIC ASSESSMENT9medical issues that develop into Bipolarity (Yutzy et al., 2012).With the proper understandingof Bipolar behavior, we can understand that we should not make a diagnosis lightly and thattreatment for Bipolar Disorder should remain compassionate based on the exhibited behaviorsand symptoms and the individual. The fear of over-diagnosis is a real concern for some medicalprofessionals. Incorrect diagnosis negatively influences an individual's life and the type oftherapies used to alter the behaviors or symptoms caused by another impending factor, such asmedical conditions underlying psychological trauma or scars.Medical professionals basetreatment plans upon the diagnosis, and should it be incorrect. The assumptions made abouttreatment are generally false. They will not provide the best care to the patient without fulldisclosure of factual information, nor can they help manage the severity of mania or depressionsymptoms with correct therapies (Yutzy et al., 2012).
