parents recognize their behavior and teaching their children about making healthier choices, this can ultimately lead to a healthier lifestyle. Not only is food a factor, the activity level of children may be influenced by a family’s contribution to either support kids’ interest in sports or after school activities as well as encouraging them to go out and play rather than being stuck at home living a sedentary lifestyle. I believe that the changes can start as close to home and the other environmental factors can be changed as the habits of foundation and more knowledge are implemented in order for kids to learn better choices. Now that I’m close to my mid-twenties, there are many health related concerns that are now important for me to be aware of. Since there are no easy fix to what has been done, there’s only the chance to change for the future. Many kids might struggle with their weight and consequences will arise as years go on, but with better education and knowledge about healthier lifestyle as well as support from others, it’s possible to change the path they’re on. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
