Sanitation was also greatly improved throughout African colonies due to European new
imperialism.
European nations ignored the needs of African native groups, when claiming colonies in
Africa to fulfill their own greedy new imperialistic agendas. A combination of economic,
political and social reasons greatly influenced European colonization. Resources and geopolitics
played an important roles as to where each country decided occupy and colonize. European
expansion into Africa has affected the native people in many ways and African nations continue
to feel the many effects of Europe’s aggressive and thorough invasion even over a century later.
