each of them have shaped me. I have known my best friend since I was eight, but she has been just about the only constant. I had my first boyfriend starting when I was about to turn 16 and I though I knew exactly what I wanted in a guy. It turns out, he wasn't it. Not even close. But, because I was so young and unclear about what I wanted, I stayed with him for three years. It wasn't until I got to college that my perspective changed and I realized he wasn't right for me and it wasn't as much of a healthy relationship as I had thought. Because of that relationship, however, I discovered more about myself and what I want and who I am. My college experiences were so different than my earlier experiences that they changed me as well. I grew up in a small, safe, suburban town. When I came to UMass, it was a huge culture shock. There were people here that did and smoked things that I had never heard of. People from all different backgrounds. I became friends with many of them and through them I changed as well. I became exposed to more and more things that helped me develop into who I am today. But I am not even done developing who I am. My life after college is going to be even more different than anything else I have experienced. Any of those experiences and other relationships I develop are going to change me more. Perhaps not as drastically as I already have been, but I will continue to grow. My identity might not be set in stone for a long time. 3. I am very lucky to have been raised in an environment filled with love that was shown in healthy ways and to have continued to experience this throughout my life. I have never had a problem showing or giving love and never had a problem receiving it. I have two parents that I love very much that I have always had a good relationship with. I have a younger brother that I had a typical sibling relationship with and even we don't have a problem expressing familial love. I have a best friend with whom I am very close, she is much like another sister, and we are very clear with how close we are.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
