The essay will be submitted on time. A “C” paper will make sense and will adequately address the topic or question, but may lack some clarity of organization or of writing style. It will give appropriate references to the text with the use of quotes and reference to specific passages. It will be of adequate length and will be relatively free of mechanical errors and will be submitted on time. Papers receiving a grade lower than a C will have to be revised according to the instructor’s comments in order to receive a grade of C.
