5 MNH306-K/101 submit for assessment (or both if you choose to submit both). The highest of the two assignment marks will be combined with your examination mark to calculate your final assessment mark for this module. Your final assessment mark for this module will therefore be a combination of the assignment mark (the highest of assignment 01 and 02) and the examination mark . The assignment mark will contribute a maximum of 10% to the final assessment mark for the module, while the examination mark will contribute 90%. Students who do not obtain a pass mark in the compulsory assignment but write the examination must still obtain a minimum of 50% for the assignment mark and the examination mark combined for the final assessment mark. Irrespective of the year mark obtained a sub minimum of 40% must be obtained in the examination. You will therefore not pass the module if your examination mark is less than 40%. 8 ADDITIONAL SUBJECT PERIODICALS To help you establish a link between theory and practice, we recommend that you subscribe to some of the following South African subject periodicals: People Dynamics Contact person Gail Bennideen Postal address Institute of People Management PO Box 5911 RIVONIA 2128 Telephone number (011) 803-3887 Fax number (011) 803-5316 E-mail address [email protected] Management Today Contact person Richard Havenga Postal address PO Box 2239 NORTHCLIFF 2115 Telephone number (011) 326-2625 Fax number (011) 326-2102 E-mail address [email protected] HR Future Contact person Claire Wingate-Pearse Postal address Osgard Media PO Box 1149 NORTHCLIFF 2115 Telephone number (011) 888-8914 Fax number (011782-5160
