A violin is said to cost and valued more than a house in Cateura, so obtaining instruments for the kids was very difficult. Chavez decided to construct the instruments out of garbage; such as pieces of wood, cardboard, metal, and even forks. The forks were used to hold the strings of the violin and two barrels put together made the body shape of the cello. The climate and environment greatly determined their quality of life. As the climate and environment gets worse, so does their quality of living. Though, this drives the whole community to make a change in efforts for the greater good and help the program thrive for bigger things. provide with anything else they needed. Fabio Chavez bought all of the travelling children luggage so that they may use to travel because they didn’t have any. He also took them to get their passports completed in order to travel. I believe the children are passionate and courageous because of what they have been through to get to where they are now. The living conditions push them to work harder in something they are passionate about, giving them a better sense of life and purpose. I share the same passion, like the children, to the things that are important to me. We are able to see throughout the
