Public sector: organizations are usually set up in the interests of the community and are funded wholly or partly by the government from public funds and are answerable to a government department or the treasury It can be inferred from the general literature that public enterprises have three defining characteristics: a) They are government owned and controller. b) They are engaged in commercial activities. c) They have socio-political goals alongside their primary economic goals. Some provide services paid for by taxation. Others levy charges on users directly, although such charges may be reduced by subsidy. The public sector refers to all publicly funded or publicly owned bodies, even though they may not form part of the obvious apparatus of government. Voluntary organizations can be described as non-profit driven, non-statutory, autonomous and run by individuals who do not get paid for running the organization. Voluntary organizations include large international charities, small community groups art and trade organizations, professional bodies and charitable trusts. 1.1 Explain the activities of Vietinbank in the respects of legal structure and its activity type and purpose. VietinBank is the public sector which is managed by the government with registered name: Vietnam joint stock commercial bank for indusrty and trade. VietinBank is an service organization provided some services such as sending, receiving money; credit, interest. There are two mains activities of VietinBank: it is for personal and corporate.

Personal: Customers can create their VietinBank account securely with earing attractive interest percentage. Costumers could transfer currency in the internet, wire transferring to transfer money between other banks in Vietnam or exchange money overseas through their account.Foreign Currency Trading, VietinBank performs 3 kinds of currency trading which are Spot Exchange, Forward Exchange and Foreign currency options. In Foreign Currency Trading sector, they provide a system which is rapidly, efficiently and exactly for many demands of trading foreign currency. Corporation: VietinBank provides some service for corporations. There are deposits; loans; international payment and trade finance;foreign exchange & capital market; payments and cash management. Moreover, using internet banking is one of the advantages of VietinBank which allow corporations make transactions and account management anywhere anytime with the internet connection. 1.2 Describe the current vision, mission, core values, goals, and objectives (SMART) of Vietinbank: An necessary requirement for a meaningful strategic plan is the creation of a set of goals and objectives for the organization. The process of developing these can be shown as a progression or hierarchy of aims or purposes.
