Determining the role of the culture I referred back to the test and questionnaire I had provided to
the teachers back in the second week. I had asked Miss. Jena to complete the school environment
questionnaire so that I could determine what would be the best behaviors to focus on. By having
Miss. Jena participates in the service I was able to prove to determine what part of the culture
was working well and what parts were maybe effecting her internal classroom culture.
● Analyze how to develop a collaborative working relationship with classroom teachers.
When figuring out how best to develop a working relationship with the the teacher I found it
very important to establish my trust and relationship with the school. The more they felt they
could share openly and honestly about the information I needed the better I could design
programs for the teacher. As a behavior analyst, the most important thing is accurate and
consistent data. If I want a collaborative working relationship I must have an open dialogue
about what is feasible to implement in a classroom. I must also have a line of communication
that will continue from initial interviews to recording results.
