RULEMAKING 5 DCCCD is surrounded by Tree other large counties that have universities and community college districts. Therefore its prices, degree plans, and other programs have to be competitive. DCCCD prides itself on having the lowest tuition rates in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex at forty five dollars per credit hour. In addition to students paying tuition they are also responsible for buying books for their courses. Students may fund their educations by applying for federal assistance through the U.S. Department of Education and Federal Financial Aid.
