His unspoken friendship with Equality is his motivation for his actions. Also, his fear of the government keeps him from going against like Equality does. But, he goes against them once, by not telling them about what they have found. C. He is very much controlled by the government. Unlike Equality, International doesn’t have the urge to learn or break the rules. Fraternity 2-5503 A. “Quiet boy with wise, kind eyes, who cry suddenly, without reason, in the midst of day or night, and their body shakes with sobs they cannot explain.” P. 47 B. He is deeply affected by the restrictions places on him in this society. He’s unable to be his own individual which pains him. C. Being in such an enclosed and restricted setting drives him near insanity and causes his emotional outbursts. Solidarity 9-6347
