By implementing these three new reforms the TANF program will not only save money, but money for the program will be recycled. The most important change that needs to be made is our societies perception of the “welfare” program. We need to reiterate that this is not a free handout, this is assistance- temporary assistance to help a family in need get back on the right track to maintaining a living, and whatever amount of funds that are invested into their family, will indeed need to be paid back in order to help another family, and so forth.
