exactly what specific behaviors you are struggling with, or that are leading to misunderstandings from others. Look closely at related item statistics, from multiple areas of the report. Be sure to be explicit about the numbers and/or quotes you are drawing on and include them here. Item means, standard deviations, differences in scores across rater categories, comparisons with class averages, etc. may all be relevant. Part of this project is about demonstrating that you have analytical skills and can meaningfully interpret various kinds of data and use it to bolster your logic. This answer should be significant in length. I think that the data points from the report do highlight this weakness of not being able to act on my actions when it’s needed most. The theme of under-confidence is apparent in certain weaknesses highlighted in my report such as not being able to persuade other people and change their opinions or good at sensing what other people might be thinking. If I was able to address these weaknesses, in essence they would all be able to resolve each other based off the fact that they are related. For instance, if I spoke out more and felt confident in my ideas then other people would believe it to. This would allow us to move forward on making these thoughts into actions. Perhaps, believing in myself is what I should be doing and not holding back my thoughts from my other group members. 4c. Why does this perceived weakness exist for you? Or why do people perceive it to exist for you? Where have your behaviors – or perceptions of you– come from? What are the root causes driving your behaviors or the perceptions ? Consider (and cite) data about your personality, values, and/or other scores about related behaviors in your explanation. Also think about the role of social context. How might your perceived weaknesses reflect the situations in which people have observed you? When do these behaviors happen most or least for you? What kinds of situations, people, or interactions seem to bring them out? Again, be explicit about specific data from the report and elsewhere to support your arguments. You may need several paragraphs here. I believe that this perceived weakness exists for me because of my inability at times to speak my mind out. For instance, when viewing the comments from raters on the report, it was mentioned at some point that one of my weaknesses is that I could be a good leader but I need to speak out more and be direct and honest about my thoughts because it could provide direction and clarity for the group. Personally, I think that the reason why I do not speak out is because sometimes I wish to hear out wisdom of others and feel knowledgeable enough to make a relevant and helpful comment or provide insight that way. However, at times I will not be able to do that so perhaps being able to think on the spot might be best for these situations.
